We charge a commission on ticket sales, set per event and agreed when the event is approved. It is deducted from what we pay you. Separately, we add a platform fee to the buyer’s total at checkout; that fee is our revenue, is paid by the buyer, and is never part of your payout.
Where you are registered under GST, you choose per ticket type whether your price includes GST or has it added at checkout. If the price includes GST, that tax is taken out of the ticket price first — your payout and our commission are worked out on what is left, not on the full price. Accounting for GST on your ticket sales, raising invoices, and filing returns are your responsibility, not ours.
Where you are not registered under GST, we add GST as our own charge on any ticket priced above ₹500; a ticket priced at ₹500 or less carries no GST at all. If such a ticket is priced inclusive of GST, that tax is removed from the ticket price before your payout and our commission are worked out; otherwise it is added to the buyer’s total at checkout. Either way that money is ours to account for and is not part of your payout.
Payouts are made to the bank account you gave us, after the event has taken place, less commission and less any refunds, chargebacks and adjustments. We may hold a payout where an event is under dispute, where refunds are outstanding, where we are waiting on information from you, or where we reasonably suspect fraud.
Refunds and chargebacks come out of your money. If your event is cancelled after you have been paid, or a buyer successfully disputes a payment, you owe us the amount refunded and we may set it off against future payouts or recover it directly.
